Head Start: Moving onto University

Leaving 6th form and heading to university is a big change. There are so many things to think about, whether it's living away from home for the first time, making new friends, or learning to navigate what it means to live for Jesus at university.

That's why UCCF and Bible By The Beach are partnering together to put on this event for you on Monday 14 September in Eastbourne. This event has been designed especially for people who have left secondary education and are about to start university (or a gap year), to equip you and help you feel confident with what's coming next for you. We will explore together:

• What it means to be God's people at university

• The unique opportunities you have at your stage of life to be involved in God's mission at university

• How to navigate searching for a church

• There will even be the opportunity to meet others just like you, about to start university, and to encourage one another as we move forward together

Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray and to give more than either we desire or deserve. We thank you for your abundant mercy and for all the good gifts you give us. We thank you that Jesus, who is alive and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit has mediated for us, so that we may have life with you. Amen
